Icing an injury shouldn’t mean
going home.

CryoTec started with a simple problem: recovery often doesn’t fit into real life.
I’m a runner, and over the years I’ve taken part in numerous races, including multiple marathons. Like most runners who train with intent, I’ve experienced the toll that comes with pushing your limits like shin splints, runner’s knee, IT band syndrome.
The hardest part wasn’t the injury itself. It was where I found myself when the pain set in, at run clubs, in the gym, or after a race. Places with no ice packs readily available, and no practical way to treat it on the spot.
Recovery wasn’t immediate. It meant waiting until I got home, putting everything on pause, and setting aside time just to ice, heat, and manage the damage.

I started thinking about what a better solution would look like — something I could strap on right after a run, while at the office, or wear on my commute home.
What began as a personal project quickly revealed a broader problem. Others were facing the same gap with no practical way to recover while staying active in their daily lives. Seeing the impact on recovery that CryoTec had made one thing clear: this wasn’t just a product for me, it was a better way to recover.
